The Sagrario (Tabernacle) Hospital of Santa Marta was founded by Don Vasco de Quiroga between 1536 and 1540. Our Lady of Health stood in this place for 191 years, until 1908 when it was moved to its present home.

The church has several architectural styles and one piece in particular is most interesting: a mixed baroque altar, painting and sculpture, whose Churrigueresque estipite column.

Almost across from this church is the parish of San Miguel, of legendary fame.
