    Located in the state of Nuevo León, we find a city of vital importance for the México.     One of the most visited attractions in the city is the Gran Plaza, in the center of the city. Here we find the Palacio de Gobierno (Government Palace) and the Paseo Santa Lucía (Santa Lucía Pass), a place to get together and rest, where Diego de Montemayor founded Monterrey more than 400 years ago. We also find the Faro del Comercio (Commercial Lighthouse), the Fuente de la Vida (Fountain of Life), the Catedral de Monterrey (Monterrey Cathedral), constructed in 1770 and finished in 1899.
