The city of León occupies an important place in the state and national economy, as it is considered the social, commercial, and service capital of Guanajuato. Characterized by its important industrial and commercial development, it is renowned for its production of leather accessories and shoes that can be purchased in shops in the famous Zona Piel and in various plazas.
