The story of The Chapultepec Castle is as interesting as its beauty. It was built in the 18th century for the viceroy of New Spain, and later became the seat of the Military College and residence of the Emperor Maximiliano. During the  time of Porfirio Diaz, it became the Presidential Residence until 1944, when Lazaro Cardenas converted it into the National Museum of History which continues up until today.  Inside the museum you can admire different exhibitions consisting from the Conquest to the Revolution.
