The Iglesia de Santa Lucia, is the work of architect Carlos Z. Flores, and was built between 1884 and 1892 in what was a chapel in ruins.
In neoclassical style, this church is composed of a single nave with pilasters attached to the walls and propped up arches. The altarpiece of the main altar is in a Gothic style, with elements of neo-classical architecture and art nouveau.
