The Amanecer Instituto de las Artesanias based in San Cristobal de Las Casas, is aimed at the preservation, promotion, diffusion and marketing of craft products that are produced only in the state of Chiapas.

In the shop, visitors can buy beautiful pieces of amber jewelry, ceramics, toys, publications of folk art, specialty foods, metalwork, textiles and clothing with innovative designs from weavers that still remain within the framework of the rich indigenous tradition.
