Information

Isidro El Pescador is a bronze sculpture by Mexican artist Ramis Barquet. Inaugurated on January 12, 1996, it pays tribute to fisherman, one of the traditional figures of Old Vallarta.
"Every morning the barefoot fisherman, with his hat still wet by the breeze and his pants rolled up to the knees, announced his passage through the village streets, banging his knife against his oar, from which its ends hung the catch of the morning.”
