“ Stone Arches of the Boardwalk”
With the Sea Horse, there are another icons of the city. Because of a hurrican in 2002, they are now a replica of the originally ones that had been brought from a colonial Hacienda of Guadalajara.
“The Little Sea Horse”
Inaugurated in 1976, this bronze figure of approximately 3 meters in height was created by the artist Rafael Zamarripa. This little boy riding a sea horse, has become the symbol of Puerto Vallarta.
“ The Millenium”
Mathis Lidice created this work to celebrate the new millenium. The ascending spiral symbolize the evolution of the man through time. We can observe Charlemagne, Nezahualcóyotl, and a woman who tries to reach a dove.
“In Search of Reason”
Creation of Sergio Bustamente inaugurated in 1999 in honor to the future millennium. Characterized by two children ascending high bronze stairs and their mother standing on the sidewalk begging them to come down.
“Friendship Fountain ”
Work of Bud Bottoms given to the municipality of Puerto Vallarta in 1987. It represents three dolphins that symbolize the two sister cities (Puerto Vallarta-Santa Barbara, California) and the friendship that unites them.
