The city of Puebla is one of the most notable historic jewels of Mexico: banner of patriotism thanks to those who fought against the french invaders in the famous battle of 1862. Nevertheless the fluctuation of such a rich past goes back to a remote epoch, even before the times of Cholula’s splendor in the proximities of the actual city of Puebla.
At the arrival of the Spanish conquerors, Cholula not only stood out as a business center, but as the worship headquarters of mythical Quetzalcoatl, an inspiration for leyends where man and god are joined together into one and into the same perspective of fantasy.
