The Santuario Nuestra Señora de los Remedios in Cholula, was built in 1594 as a dedication to the Virgin of Remedies. The church has in its doorway a simple arch, and it has two identical towers, and in its interior it has an attractive neoclassical altar much like the style of the rest of the decor.  This church was built in the basement of the Great Pyramid of Cholula.  The Pyramid is an archeological vestige that consists of several superimposed floors built over the original. The area consists of important relics from pre-Hispanic times and a museum that can be visited from 10:00 to 5:00. From the church courtyard, on a clear day you can see a stunning panoramic view of the four cardinal points, with which visitors are fascinated by the natural beauty of the surroundings.
