Near the House of Eleven Patios is a fountain with the painted image of Michael the Archangel.

Legend has it that the Purepecha priests rinsed their necklaces made ​​of shells filled with blood at the fountain, so that water would have a strong salty taste.

They say shortly thereafter, several women saw the devil himself in the parish, so Don Vasco de Quiroga ordered the painting of the image of the Archangel.

Currently it is said that the water from this fountain has healing properties.
