Unique in its kind. It is an incredible place that offers its visitors the best view of the city toward its four cardinal points. On clear days can be seen, besides the metropolis, the majestic hills and mountains that have given so much fame to this cosmopolitan city. It has signs with detailed explanation of what is being contemplated. It is also open at night for evening strolls. You can arrive by car as the place has a free parking.
Although this city is a symbol of change and renewal there is a place in the center, where the architecture resists the passage of time and stands as a demonstration of what centuries ago represented Monterrey. The Barrio Antiguo (Old Town) is a compound of streets and buildings, where the oldest dates from the seventeenth century. It is located behind the Cathedral and is one of the busiest social centres; many restaurants and bars have been established in this area while respecting the original facades of the houses but adapting their interiors with modern tools that enable healthy fun of the locals and visitors. It is a compelled place to know, walk and take pictures.
It is one of the most representative icons of the region. It rises imposing and glorious between the municipalities of Monterrey and Guadalupe at an altitude of 1575 meters above sea level. In the 90's was designated as a protected area and covers a total area of 6045 hectares. Tours on foot and ascents with special equipment can be done.
This Chapel is the oldest temple in Monterrey after the Cathedral, it dates from 1830 and was slightly remodeled in 1945.
