The Mondays of Vaquerias is an event representative of the joy and folklore of the Yucatan. It is the children, future geniuses in the implementation of regional dance, who have the primary role in this weekly fiesta.  Hundreds of people gather to celebrate the tradition of seeing these small children execute joyfully the rhythm of the dance, either on top of a small wood plank or balancing a tray full of glasses and bottles on their heads. Due to its joyful celebration, this show is already a known favorite among the public. The Lunes de Vaquerias is held every Monday at 8 p.m. front of the Palacio Municipal.
