Information
At the beginning of the eighties was built a large plaza for the Tapatios  to allow them  walk quietly through the historical centre. The Plaza Tapatia covers from the Degollado theater until The Instituto Cabañas.

The Plaza Tapatia has an area of 70 thousand square meters and includes at the same time, several plazas: Los Fundadores, Degollado, Morelos, Lopez Portillo and Webe as well as the so-called central  esplanade and the Paseo del Hospicio. It also has two paths, one behind the  Degollado´s and the other in one of its sides on the Morelos street. This work was created by Juan Gil Elizondo.
