The Regional Museum of Ceramics of Tlaquepaque is the oldest of its class, it was inaugurated in 1954. It is located in an old house belonging to a wealthy Spanish, it owns ceramics pieces typical from the Valle de Atemajac besides some winners pieces of the National Award of Ceramics.
