Culiacán, Una Ciudad Que Lo Tiene Todo (Culiacan, a city that has everything)

The capital of the state of Sinaloa is positioned as an increasingly important tourist destination because it combined modernity with history and beautiful scenery.

Culiacan shines because of its natural resources such as the beaches around it and the spectacular sites for the hunting season for ducks and geese that lasts 120 days a year (October-February).  It is the oldest city in the northeast of the country and its name comes from the Nahuatl word, "Colhuacan," which means "Place of those who worship the God Caltzin."

The city may be known on foot or on  a tourist bus that runs the most important points of the place.  To reach Culiacan just follow the federal highway number 15 (Pan American) which join the United States in the north and Guadalajara and Mexico City in the south. You can also take  the toll road Benito Juarez which is parallels to the the first one.

Within the urban area is the International Airport of Culiacan and has flights to several points of Mexico and the American Union.
