The name of the sculpture is "Figura Obscena" and is the work of Mexican sculptor Jose Luis Cuevas. It represents a man on hands and knees, with one leg lifted in the gesture of marking the territory. It was placed at the roundabout from the complimentary highway of  Colima- Guadalajara in 2001, by the petition of the then governor Fernando Moreno Pena. This peculiar creation, which since its placement has and continues to cause controversy amongst the local population,  welcomes all passerbys that arrive to the city from this route.
