The commemorative Bicentennial Parade of Independence of Mexico was held on September 16, 2010.  It began moments after 11:00a.m. with honors to President Felipe Calderon Hinojosa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.  On this special occasion, military delegations were mobilized from 17 countries in Europe and South America, friends in Mexico, Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Chile, China, El Salvador, Spain, USA, France, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Peru, Russia and Venezuela. 

One of the groups were headed by women and more than a total of 18 thousand Mexican army troops, the Navy, and the Federal Public Safety and Mexican Air Force, grouping armored vehicles, artillery, cavalry and motorized cavalry, and cowboys.  It was a historical parade, impressive and highly acclaimed by thousands of spectators along the circuit that runs from the Plaza de la Constitución to the Angel of Independence.
