Flag Zona Hotelera

The inauguration of the monumental  flagstaff  that President Ernesto Zedillo did in Cancun on January 23, 1998, an act which is estimated about six thousand people attended.
An impressive and majestic, the flag is so great that we can appreciate its waving at kilometer 5 of the hotel zone from the town center of Cancun and even, some say, also from Isla Mujeres. The staff is 103.7 meters, with a length of 424 thousand square meters and 120 kilograms in weight. The texture of the material which they are made is similar to that used for making parachutes.
