Isla La Roqueta is an island of about 8 hectares, and is found 30 minutes from the Acapulco coast. On the island there is a zoo that displays various species of tropical animals and animals from other parts of the world. This beautiful protected area, is a mix of the green nature with the noises of the animals. It also has places to eat and relax, as well as a lighthouse that serves as a look-out point at the top of the island. The view from there is spectacular and should not be missed. Boats to La Roqueta depart every 45 minutes from the pier at Playa Caleta.
